Activity Feed
Activity feeds grouped by day, a record's history as a timeline, notifications with unread state, a weekly digest and social activity.
Activity feeds show who did what, and when. Times are relative, like "5 min ago" or "yesterday", with the full date and time on hover, and days are headed "Today" and "Yesterday". Both take a fixed now and a time zone, so they render the same on the server and in the browser. Avatars show initials on a tint of your chart colours, picked from the name, when there's no photo. Icons for each kind of activity are decorative, and the sentence next to them says what happened.

What people did across a workspace, newest first and grouped by day.
