Terms of sale
Last updated
These terms apply when you create an account on dashboardblocks.com or buy All-Access. The licence says what you may do with the code, the refund policy says when you get your money back, and the privacy policy says what we do with your data. These terms, the licence, the refund policy and what each item's page says make up the agreement for your purchase. Link's terms cover the payment itself.
Who we are
Dashboardblocks is owned and operated by Gregory Lebret, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. "We", "us" and "our" mean Gregory Lebret. You can reach us at support@dashboardblocks.com.
Who processes your payment
Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase and sells All-Access through Link, its checkout. Your receipt and invoice show the sale as "Sold through Link", and Stripe collects and pays any sales tax, VAT or GST. Link's own terms apply to the payment. We provide the product, the account and support. We decide refunds under our refund policy, and Link may also refund under its own.
What you buy
All-Access is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It gives you:
- every paid block and template on Dashboardblocks, and every one we publish later;
- a token to install them with the shadcn CLI, and downloads of the templates;
- updates while your licence lasts and we run Dashboardblocks.
There's no fixed term. All-Access lasts for life, unless it ends under the licence. Updates and new items come for as long as we run Dashboardblocks. If we ever stop, we'll give at least 90 days' notice by email and keep installs and downloads working until then, so you can save every paid item you're licensed for, unless something outside our control stops us. Either way, your licence to use what you've installed carries on.
The paid items are built for developers using React, the shadcn CLI and the frameworks named on each item's page. Check that they fit your project before you buy. The free blocks and live previews let you try them first.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars and include any VAT, GST or sales tax, which Stripe takes out of the price, and Stripe may show them in your local currency. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Prices for new buyers go up as we add templates, as the pricing page says. A price rise never affects what you already bought.
Teams
A team purchase covers up to 10 named people in one company. The person who pays owns the team and holds one of its seats. They invite others by email or by an invite link, and can remove people and give a freed seat to someone else. Each person on a seat signs in with their own account, gets their own token and accepts these terms. The buyer is responsible for whom they invite and for removing people who leave.
If you own a personal purchase, you can upgrade to a team by paying the team price less what you paid. Your personal purchase then counts as part of the team purchase.
Your account
You sign in with GitHub or Google. Keep that account secure. You're responsible for what happens with your Dashboardblocks account and your token.
Don't share your token or your account. We log each install made with a token and may look into a token used from more places than one person plausibly would. If we find it shared, we may revoke the token and will tell you when we do. You can then create a new one.
We may close an account whose breach of the licence or these terms isn't fixed as the licence says, and suspend at once an account used to attack the site. If we close your account alone for a reason other than a breach, we'll refund what you paid. Shutting down the whole site follows the notice above instead.
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Deleting it ends your access, revokes your token and frees your team seat. It doesn't refund your purchase, which the refund policy covers. A team's buyer can't delete their account while other people hold seats on the team. Remove them first, or email support.
Emails
We email you a confirmation of each purchase, send team invites to the addresses a team's buyer types, and email you important notices about your account, your team or these terms. We send release emails about new paid items only if you opt in, and each one has an unsubscribe link. Stripe sends your receipts.
Support
Email support@dashboardblocks.com about your licence, account or purchase. We reply within 2 business days. Report bugs on the public GitHub issues. Support covers installing the items and fixing bugs in them. It doesn't cover building your project or consulting.
The free site and blocks
The docs, free blocks and previews are free to use. The free blocks are released under the MIT license. We may change or remove anything on the site.
Warranty
We build and test every item to install and work as its page describes. If one doesn't, tell us and we'll fix it. If we can't fix it within 14 days of you telling us, we'll refund you, however long ago you bought it.
Apart from that, the code and the site are provided as they are, without other warranties, to the extent the law allows. You're responsible for testing the code in your own project, and for your project's security, data and compliance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or business, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the purchase the claim is about. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law: for fraud, for death or injury caused by negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if you buy as a consumer.
Your rights as a consumer
If you buy as a consumer, you have rights under the law of the country you live in, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change affects what you've bought, we'll email you before it applies. A change never takes away a licence you already have.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts decide any dispute, unless, as a consumer, the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts or the protection of its own rules.
