Error Pages
Not found, no access, something went wrong, down for maintenance and an ended session, each with a way forward.
Error pages say what happened in plain words, whose fault it was, and what to do next, so nobody is left on a dead end. Each one is a full page built on ErrorPageLayout: your brand at the top, a centred message, then actions. Leave out brand to use one inside an app shell. Pass focusOnMount when the page is a route, so focus moves to the title and screen readers announce the error after a client-side navigation. Times are shown in UTC, and anything that waits on the server shows that it's working and says when it fails again.
Not Found
The path that wasn't found, so a typo is easy to spot, a search, and the places people usually look for.

Page not found
Nothing lives at /dashboards/revenue-overveiw. It may have moved, or the link has a typo.
No Access
Who can give access, a request with an optional message, and the account you're signed in with, since the wrong account is the most common cause.

You don’t have access
You need permission to view the Revenue overview dashboard.
Amara Okafor can give you access.

Maintenance
What's being done, when it'll be back, progress through the planned window, the latest updates, and an email when it's over. When it runs late, it says so instead of showing a time that has passed.
Down for maintenance
We’re moving your data to a faster warehouse. Dashboards, reports and alerts are paused, and no data is lost.
Started
Updates
- Data is copied. Checking that every dashboard matches.
- Copying data to the new warehouse.
- Maintenance started. Dashboards are offline.
Session Ended
Why the session ended, whether unsaved work was kept, and a sign-in link that goes back to the same page.
Your session has ended
You were signed out after 30 minutes without activity, to keep your account safe.
Your unsaved changes were kept as a draft. They’ll be there when you sign back in.
